kids recycleThe Green Cup Challengeā„¢ is a month long, inter-school competition that empowers students and builds community, while raising awareness about climate change and the importance of resource conservation.

The Green Cup Challengeā„¢ began in 2003 at Phillips Exeter Academy, expanding to an interschool competition with the addition of The Lawrenceville School and Northfield Mount Hermon. The Green Cup Challenge grew to 40 schools by 2007 and officially joined the Green Schools Alliance in 2008.
